UNICEF took the initiative to pilot Growth Monitoring and Promotion, a project aimed to create awareness among the parents and care-givers of the babies under 5 years old about the importance of regular growth monitoring and nutrition. ZANALA Bangladesh was the assigned agency for carrying out this behavior change campaign with an objective to bring change in the growth monitoring practices. The main objectives of the campaign was to make the growth monitoring tool popular as well as make it readily available within the reach of the mass people (aimed to cover 160,000 children under the age of 5 in Dhaka city). We developed the entire plan of the campaign, designed an identity for it, produced all the communication materials and disseminated through craftily selected media to get the maximum mileage.
